There are some sites that are authority sites, and they have had the exact same things for years. Even though the content is high quality, it would still be nice to see something different one of these days. They can get far more interest and mileage from their readers when they stop and think about what it going on. Once people have seen something so many times, they will begin to ignore a lot of things. It’s best to do everything you can to avoid this on your own site.
